INSTRUCTORS

Mr. James A Rallis, Director of Bands 
Has been teaching and directing bands for the past 30 years. He is currently Director of Bands at Cardinal Joseph Bernardin School in Orland Park, St. Damian School in Oak Forest and St. Mary School in Riverside. He also performs with and leads the group SUNDANCE. Mr. Rallis is a graduate of DePaul University with a degree in music education. He also has taught privately for Old Quarry band students in the past. Mr. Rallis resides in Lemont.

 

Mr. Glen Pawlak, Instructor 
Has been teaching and directing bands for 33 years. He is currently teaching at St. Michaels in Orland Park, St. Joseph in Homewood and in Griffith, Indiana. He has set up over 25 band programs in the Chicago land area since the early 1980's. Mr. Pawlak has also taught privately at high schools in the south suburbs.

 

Mr. Frank Alongi, Instructor 
Is a current graduate of Northeastern School of Music with a degree in Music Education. Has taught and led percussion ensembles as well as Concert, Jazz and Symphonic bands. Mr. Alongi is a performer and soloist with many orchestra's and bands throughout the area.

 

Mr. Anthony Rallis, Instructor 
Is a current graduate of Vandercook School of Music (Music Education). Has directed and performed in brass ensembles, Jazz bands and orchestra's as a soloist. Mr. Rallis has also been an adjuticator for many solo and ensemble competitions. Mr. Rallis resides in Lemont and was a former band student in the Old Quarry band program.
